As mentioned in class, the Chapter 19 Test tomorrow will include the 22 multiple choice questions on pages 493 and 495. It will also include three of the four essay questions below. Of the three essays you will have the freedom to select two with which you are most knowledgeable.
Essay Questions:
- What are the distinguishing characteristics of prokaryotes?
- What is the best way to protect humans against most viral diseases?
- Do you think viruses should be considered a form of life? Describe the reasons for your opinion.
- How are lytic viruses like American Old West outlaws (see page 480 for more information)?
