We are continuing our Sound Unit this week. The following describes this week's homework and due dates:
Wednesday, December 17: You should remember the hearing test I gave the class a few weeks ago. I want you to go to the same website http://www.freemosquitoringtones.org/hearing_test/ and test at least four other people both younger and older than you. If you have Internet issues at home then borrow a school laptop and try people here at school (try Mrs. Fulcher!). Record the highest frequency they can hear along with their names in a table form. Did you find that younger people always have better hearing than older people?
Friday, December 19: You are going to make a rainstick for this homework. Directions can be found at: http://www.exploratorium.edu/frogs/rain_stick/index.html. I'll explain more about this homework later in the week.
